Great evening. It was a pleasure to attend a session where the author is there in person. Glad to have had the chance to purchase his books as well right at the event. Very well done!
We enjoyed the evening immensely. Although we had already read/heard of the 5 love languages, it is spot on and worth discussing and figuring out whether we are speaking each other's language. The 5 languages of apology was interesting and has given us another thing to talk about and see if we're in sync. We walked out of the sessions with a new book too - Your New Life with Adult Children. I can't tell you how many times I've mentioned that I wish there was a book on what to do now that they're adults. I'm looking forward to gleaning wisdom from the book. If you have the opportunity to take in an evening with Gary Chapman I'd highly recommend that you do!
Great presentation. I would have led with the apologies and followed with the five love languages. The second half was heavy and seemed to take the wind out of everyone.
Staff were wonderful and the church venue was beautiful.

I felt a bit deceived. He mentions the questionnaire that you can do online to see what love language is for you. You go do the survey and then there’s a cost.. if you don’t cancel after that you are going to be paying over $40..then the cost for my wife to do the surgery too..for an initial book that is translated in over 50 languages you know they are making bank. My wife bought four books as did many others.. nothing is ever just there to help you or out of the goodness of their heart. Everything is to make money. Just guess that was disappointing . I dont know why I thought it would be different.
He is an excellent speaker. He split the presentation into 2 parts with excellent examples used from his experiences as a councillor
It was very good information and very enlightening.
I would like to see him have one devoted to single people next time. One day for each .
We thoroughly enjoyed it!
