Description

Union Historical Fire Society Annual Allentown Spring Melt Marketplace

April 18 & 19, 2026

Get ready for the annual “Spring Melt” Fire Antique Memorabilia and Marketplace and the 37th
Annual Firematic Antique Auction. The auction will be held on Saturday, April 18th with the
marketplace to follow on Sunday, April 19th at the Agri-Plex at Allentown Fairgrounds. The doors open
on Sunday at 9 a.m. to the largest fire memorabilia marketplace in the country. There are other
musters and conventions, but this show is the largest you will find. Attendees and dealers come from
all over the United States and Canada. Anything fire department related can be found gathered in one
place at this show. There is something for everyone. New and used apparatus will be on display.
The Allentown Spring Melt now offers Early Buyer passes. These can be purchased online or at the
door. See www.unionhistoricalfiresociety.com for details. If you want to be first to spot items you are
looking for, Early Buyer passes are the way to go.

The auction is presented by The Eastmere Fireman. Auctioneer Brian Enterline has lined up another
exceptional auction this year. You can preview the items in person on Friday April 17th from 12 p.m. to
3 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. The auction starts promptly at 8 a.m. Or you can view
the items on the auction website: https://eastmerefireman.com/. Contact Brian directly by phone:
717-648-4458 or email: [email protected] with questions or to inquire about consigning
items to the auction.

Admission is a contribution to the Union Historical Fire Society of $5.00 to the Auction and $10.00 to
the Marketplace. Children under 12 admitted free. Refreshments are available all weekend and there
is no charge for parking. This is an indoor show, so the weather is never a problem.
New vendors are welcome. Keep in mind the show is limited to fire related items ONLY. If you are
interested in becoming a vendor, visit our website at www.unionhistoricalfiresociety.com or contact
Tom & Cheryl D’Arcangelo at 631-348-3787 or email [email protected] with your
questions.

We can assure you there will be an unparalleled selection of vendors and merchandise this year. Last
year was the largest show in our history and we are aiming to top that this year. Mark your calendars
so you don’t miss out! Photos from the Spring Melt can be found on the UHFS website.

It was an Awesome Event. So many Cool Finds. I definitely recommend Early Buyer if you're looking for specific hard-to-find items. The Event Staff did a really good job moving the lines and helping people who had any questions or inquiries.

I'm old school and don't like to do tickets on line but it's what is required and I do it. This was simple, easy entry to the event and I was happy.

It was nice to see all the vendor booths full. The only thing that I can gripe about was on Saturday some of the vendors closed their booths early (before 6) and some did not really set up at all and were busy doing their own pre buying of items from other vendors. I am not saying these few vendors ruined the event by any means, but their actions did go against the reason for buying the early buyers pass.
You guys do a great job! See you next year!
