ADDO presents Behind The Scenes: A Show About A Show, a meta-theatrical dance production that peels back the polished layers of live performance to reveal the beautiful chaos beneath. It flips the spotlight, placing the unseen backstage rituals, nerves, mishaps, and magic front and centre. The audience becomes a witness to the raw, unpredictable, and often humorous reality of what it takes to put on a show, embracing imperfection as an essential part of the art.
Deeply self-aware and interactive, the show invites the audience to become part of the theatrical machine itself. With multiple performances, no two shows are exactly the same, each night shaped by spontaneity, variation, and audience interactivity. At its core, Behind The Scenes: A Show About A Show is both a love letter to performance and a playful deconstruction of it, celebrating the messy, magical in-between spaces where the real drama unfolds.
