I really liked the variety of wineries. I like the additional arts/clothing booths. The venue is wonderful. My only critique is that the music was too "old school". Need to spice it up (and I am a 55+ person saying this). It would have been ok to have the first band for the opening hour or so. But, then we needed something that would appeal to a wider audience.

This was a great time all around. People were friendly. Staff both paid and countering could not have been more helpful. As people new to the wine scene the venue was spectacular and the weather could not have been more perfect. We got new ideas for wines to share and even enjoyed some old favorites. The idea of wearing a card and getting it signed as you visited each winery was so much better than tickets and gave you a chance to talk to the vendors and interact. The only downside side was the food trucks. Tried two different ones down past the entrance as was not impressed. But the charcuterie place was a big hit and well put together. Will definitely go again.

What a fun event. It was very well organized and easy to get your wine tastings. Loved the live music. I’ll be back next year

Over all a very nice event. My main concern was the lack of direction to senior/handicapped parking. There were no buses in the parking lot when we arrived and there were no signs directing us to the parking mentioned. it was a long uphill walk for my wife. When we reached the check-in booth no one there could direct me to the parking. I was hoping to avoid having my wife walkl down the hill. On our way back to our car we ended up walking down the dirt driveway from the parking lot near the band stand. We noticed several cars drove up that driveway and parked near a gated off area. When we got home may wife had such bad leg cramps she had a difficult time walking. She had to soak in a bathtub for sometime before the cramps stopped.

Is there a chance that the DD's could get a larger cup for a slurp? They are playing a very important part for your event and the people they are driving. No one can afford to have someone involved in an accident after enjoying your event.

Thank you for listening and we look forward to next years event.

The only negative was the heat, if there could have been some shade cloths it would have been perfect.
If we can find enough people next year we will get a table.

I enjoyed the event and will likely attend in the future.
1-there were too few trash cans. Attendees were walking around with trash from food and slushies with no where to put it.
2-vendors and attendees need clearer instructions on the tasting cards. Some vendors were marking off for each wine (ex: 3 marks for the same winery to taste their white, rose, and red) and others were marking 1 off for the tasting (white rose and red). Other vendors were telling guests that you could get a “glass” of 3oz instead of 3 one oz tastings and other vendors did not. So just some confusion in the whole methodology…recommend clearer verbiage and consistency with the wineries participating.
3- I really likes that DDs got something for their entry (2 slushies). If the DD tickets could include more perks I think it could make it better and more enjoyable for the DD. Maybe DD drawings or other interactive activities? I saw a lot of DDs looking kind of bored and left out.

We always enjoy visiting local wineries and often frequent several of the ones represented at this tasting, which is why we were especially looking forward to the event. Unfortunately, we left feeling a bit underwhelmed. It seemed that most of the wineries brought wines that didn’t reflect the quality we’ve come to know from them in their tasting rooms. Instead, it felt more like a showcase of their lower-end selections.

While the atmosphere and setup were enjoyable, we would have loved to see these wineries put their best foot forward. Part of the fun of an event like this is discovering new favorites and sharing them with friends, and this time we didn’t really have that experience. We know these wineries are capable of offering much better wines, so hopefully next year the selection will be more representative of their true qualitY

ticket price seemed a bit over priced for what we got, live music was so great, but the venders were meh, wine tasting was ok but not great , overall experience was not what we expected. We have had better times at other events.

This is my second time at the Sunnyslope wine event. I will say definitely this year was better than last year. I enjoyed both of the music entertainment choices. I thought the food offered for purchase was better than last year, especially the charcuterie station. I do think there were less wine vendors attending this year. I’m not 100% sure on that but I did enjoy the ones that were there. It was a relaxing event. Even though it was nice that transportation was offered with the shuttle bus to the event, I it would be nice if a dedicated path was made for those to walk up the hill to the event. Other than that, I look forward to next year‘s event.
