I thought the idea behind the event was great. Be able to check out new pizza places without having to buy a whole pizza. However, I don’t think anyone, including me and my guest, knew the amount of people who would show up at noon. It was pretty much chaos once we got our tickets and made it to the pizza. Lines were everywhere. Once we did get close to the tables, unfortunately a lot of the pizza was cold.
If you were to hold another slice-a-palooza you should think of a larger venue, more space between the pizza vendors and have someone direct the traffic to the tables.
Overall it was a good experience. All people were nice.

We had a great time with our family of 4. We knew walking in that this year would be a learning curve for everyone involved. The opportunity to sample many different pizza establishments at once was awesome. Thank you for giving us a something to do during the month of January that everyone enjoyed! We look forward to future slice a paloozas. 😊

Overall we LOVED it!!! The value for a family of 4 was wonderful. There were SO many options that are family favorites as well as new ones we could try. The pizza places were incredibly friendly. We also loved the wonderful activities for the kids. We will be back next year! The only thing I would suggest would be tables for families to eat. We were fine and had older kids but we saw lots of families sitting on the ground and elderly people who had difficulty standing. Though it was a bit crowded (which is a good problem to have), the lines moved quickly. It was just hard to find where some of the lines began. For the first, Slice-a-palooza, it was very well done!!!

I loved the idea and concept of this pizza event. I know it was the first year so I wont be too harsh, but some things could be improved. Seating was non existent, I would recommend having a place for people to actually sit down and enjoy the pizza they picked out. By 2pm (halfway thru the event) some pizza vendors like Park Street, Lobys, and Upper Crust were already gone. Unfortunate bc I was really looking forward to trying 2 of those 3 that were already checked out of the event. The pizza passport worked good but could be improved also. Some pizza places gave nice big slices, others were very tiny, so quite a large difference between vendors. Overall, I really enjoyed the event and wished vendors that signed up for the event would have honored their time commitment. Also just wished there was a place for everyone to sit down and enjoy the pizza.. Also it should be a competition next year, We should be able to rate the pizza so there is an overall winner and top 3 finishers. Thanks, we enjoyed it and look forward to next year

Overall, I am glad we went. There are several positives, and some other notes for next year.

The positives:
We were very glad it was a pre-sale event, in our opinion there were just the right (manageable) amount of people there. We arrived at 2pm, right in the middle of the scheduled event. This was deliberate, assuming that a large crowd would be there at opening and lines would be long.
There was a great variety of pizza to try, many we'd never had nor heard of which was the point of us buying tickets to attend.
Everyone was very nice!
The questionable: The advertisements for this event indicated 'plenty of seating', but that simply wasn't true. This meant we had to choose one sample at a time and eat it standing up, rather than being able to execute our plan to lay out all slices and evaluate as we tried them.
Some exhibitors hadn't planned well, and were out of pizza and GONE by 2pm.
Some exhibitors brought well-done, dried out pizza (Guiseppe's for one) that looked so unappetizing we couldn't bring ourselves to try. Costco also had pizzas long past their prime.
Some companies were offering full slices, and others MICRO slices - def not 'half' slices.

We really enjoyed two of your exhibitors, Bob's Pizza and Angello's. Even by 3pm, those pies were hot and fresh. We'll put them on our rotation of pizza night for sure.

Thank you, and hope to see you next year!

Should have had enough sample tickets to try everybody that was there not just 5. No complaints about anything else

Great event, great concept loved all the variety and the kids zone was fabulous! Some suggestions for next time ... I would have added maybe 3 entry time options because it was so congested. Possibly a map of who was where if possible so we could be more direct. I'd also suggest to vendors to bring tall signage because it was hard to tell who some of the vendors were. I hope to see more events like this it was very fun. The kids loved the laser tag, bounce houses, music and games. The family pass was well worth the money. A real photo booth with printed pictures from Northeast Ohio Event Professionals would be my only suggestion for the kids area (they DJ and make signage as well).

Super fun experience! It was something new and different which we loved. The only take away I got from it were maybe expanding to a bigger space, the school oddly enough was too small. And it made it hard to see vendors and what they were offering because lines were long. Overall, we had an amazing time and will be back if you decide to do again!

Very neat experience…delicious pizza and ice cream vendors. Only thing I would change would be having a one director concept (one way in and one way out), it got a little crowded and congested in some areas.
