2024 Hood River HalloWine Walk

This was a lot of fun.

It was a fun idea.

1) Wines offered for tasting were fairly expensive. Would have been nice to have some mid ranged prices in the 20s. And nice since we were paying for this adventure to get some discounts like club price on the day of tasting

2) More places to sit and enjoy the tastings. It was fun to walk through shops and we did do a lot of shopping . There wasn’t always a good place to actually enjoy the wine.

3) a map of all the wineries involved and there actual location in the region and maybe a small booklet that included the wines being offered and info about each winery so I could take notes throughout the day

We had an absolute blast at the Hallowine Walk this year! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and each stop had incredible wines that made the experience even better. Such a fun event with great vibes all around, we can’t wait to do it again next year!

What a fun way to enjoy downtown Hood River! Everyone was in a great mood. I loved engaging the wine pourers as well as exploring stores I wouldn’t normally go in.

Hopefully next year there will be even more optional stops! And we’ll cross our fingers for another perfect weather day. Thanks for organizing it!

This was our 2nd time at the event. We had a great time! We loved the hosts that were engaging & wearing costumes! I think encouraging the hosts and volunteers to dress up would make it more fun! Perhaps prizes for best costume, etc. Some of the hosts did seem annoyed at the wine walk participants. Since it was a community event, you would think they would want to build relationships for their business. Overall, we had a great time. The restaurants has great food, and the Columbia Gorge Hotel was delightful. We will be back!

Fun experience the only thing I thought would be an add to the event is some kind of small bites at each stop meat and cheese, mini quiche that kind of thing.

The Halloween Wine Walk was a fantastic experience overall! The location was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape that added to the festive atmosphere. The participating wineries were excellent, showcasing a delightful variety of wines that made for a great tasting journey.

However, I did find the event to be on the expensive side given what was included. While the wines were enjoyable, I expected a bit more in terms of extras or activities for the price. Despite this, the fun ambiance and the gorgeous setting made it a memorable day. I’d recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a seasonal outing in a beautiful location!

We had a wonderful time. Met so many wonderful people. Only wish it had gone on for at least 2 hours longer. It would have given us a chance to try out the last half and explored more shops.
