The Howard County Historical Society requests your presence for their Annual Holiday House Tour (December 10th, 1-5PM) at the newly renovated Carrollton House (HO-16) and the Shrine of St. Anthony. Completed in 1832, Carrollton Hall was built by Charles Carroll of Carrollton for his granddaughter Emily McTavish. Not yet open to the public, be among the first to view this spectacular property decorated for the holidays. The Shrine of St. Anthony, built in 1931, was designed as a small replica of Santo Convento of Assisi, the friary and burial place in Italy of St. Francis of Assisi. There will be tours of both buildings and Musical Performances by the Marriotts Ridge HS Madrigals.
