How does 100WWCFernie work?
- Two Giving Events are hosted every year – Spring and Fall - Nov 7th is our next event!
- Members register for the Giving Event – their registration of $100 is their donation (register here on this page!)
- Registered members nominate a local cause that is important to them
- Six nominations are selected prior to the Giving Event
- 6 causes are pitched by their nominators at the Giving Event
- Attending Registered Members vote for their favorite 2 causes
- The two causes receiving the most votes share the total donations raised 50/50
- 100% of all funds raised are awarded. All funds awarded must support Elk Valley initiatives.
It’s efficient, effective and incredibly gratifying!
