Watkins Glen Balloon and Music Festival

Very disappointed! I understand why the balloon rides weren’t able to happen. However, having to pay $32.00 to walk around and have basically food venders was not what we expected. Nothing indicated that it was a balloon festival..

I was kind of disappointed actually! Main reason I went on Sunday was for the music but would have been nice to see a hot air balloon! Also, would have liked to see more vendors. Scenery was beautiful though!

Music and Food was great. We were disappointed that on Sunday there were no hot air ballons, nor any notice that they wouldn't be back. I did call the company, and he wasn't clear on the phone if they would be back at the festival or not. I understand that the wind could be an issue, but it should be clearly stated that the balloon would not be back and we would have picked a different day to attend

I feel the weekend pass is not worth it. Saturday was enough. I really thought it would have been bigger than it was and way more balloons.

This was our first time ever being there. We had a wonderful time. Good food , great music , fantastic time. Looking forward to next year.

We had expected to see more than 2 balloons launched and 3 tethered balloons, but we still had a lot of fun checking out the vendor booths, eating, and listening to the live music. The two bands we heard were fantastic. Parking and staffing were very well organized. Thanks for a fun Saturday!

I would of thought that paying the ticket price per person each day just to walk onto the property for the event it would have come with something i.e.: at least a glass of wine, instead I paid over ten dollars per cup of wine, and the food was okay although mine was extremely salty. Also, maybe letting folks know on the website they can or should bring their own seating. Balloons were great. Music was good.

We attended the event on Friday only. We arrived at about 6. The country music band was playing. They were great. The food vendors were ok. Parking was easy. The LED Zeppelin tribute band was good. The singer was soso. The guitar player was amazing! The lighting was awful. Instead of lighting up the performers, the lights blinded the audience! It was so annoying, we left at intermission. I was disappointed by the lack of balloons. I was expecting more than 2. I understand they are at the mercy of the weather, but maybe it should be billed as a music festival with balloons. I did enjoy listening the vineyard owner talk. His gratitude and excitement for the event was infectious. I hope he did well and I plan to come back next year!

Well organized event & adequate staffing! Hidden treasure for kids, especially at night! Great family function!
The sound techs had some difficulties & maybe a larger sound system seems reasonable! But an event to revisit. The vendors all did a great job! Hopefully more of them next year in anticipation of bigger attendance as I'm sure the word is out!

Smaller than anticipated. Would attend again, but would expect more balloons and craft vendors. Food was food
