Camp Crunchem: A Matilda Prequel - Junior Troupe

Welcome to Camp Crunchem, a jukebox musical curated and directed by Victor Cheng and Berkan Gorgun. This show serves as a prequel to Matilda JR. and explores the origins of the fearsome headmistress Agatha Trunchbull, as she begins her journey to the Olympics, as a hammer thrower.

Rebellion is nigh in Matilda JR., a gleefully witty ode to the the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the "revolting children" who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson.

It's a night of music, dance and celebration! Join our pre-primary, primary, and private students in ending the term off with a series of group and solo performances. We will also be giving out our yearly awards, and feature a pre-show performance by the teaching team.
