Riverview Christmas Tree Farm Pumpkin Festival

We decided to try a new pumpkin patch this year and landed on Riverview Christmas Tree Farm and Pumpkin Festival. We were beyond happy with our choice. Our daughter, 8, enjoyed the bouncy houses, yard games, face painting, and wandering through the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkins. Her favorite part was the train rides. We will be back!

Our first pumpkin patch! Very fun for our 2 year old grandson and a beautiful day.
We had so much fun with the tractor rides he thought he should get to drive, haha.
I would suggest a hay bail maze but activities were great.

Our kids (5 & 8) had a great time with all of the activities, and my husband and I enjoyed the food and drinks! We spent all afternoon at the event and will go back next year! Less crowded than other events in town. We appreciated the modest set up - not overly sponsored or commercialized, just outdoor fall fun

We brought 4 of our grandkids.
They loved sifting for fossils & gems.
The face painting lady did a great job
SDSU ice was a great hit!
The corn play was good but would be nice if it was a little bigger.
The apple cannons were fun. The pumpkin cannon was to expensive when having 4 grandkids with us.
We had a good day!

We LOVE going to the pumpkin festival! It’s been a tradition for our family for years! The owners and staff are super friendly and the scenery is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! There’s always a variety of activities to do while there and it’s so much fun to get a tractor/hay ride down to the pumpkin patch to find THE COOLEST pumpkins or if that’s not your thing they have a bunch already picked for you! If you’re hungry, they have food trucks and lots of other homemade goodies inside of their store along with other vendors creations if you love to shop! They even have pumpkin pie if you’re already craving that! They have a ginormous, pumpkin canon that literally shoots your pumpkin all the way across the river into Iowa! How cool is that! My absolute favorite part of coming to the pumpkin festival is listening to “The Chairman” sing and play his guitar! It’s the cherry on top of an incredible family experience! My husband and son said multiple times after coming home from the event yesterday “YOU WERE IN YOUR HAPPY PLACE THERE!” 🧡🎃🙌 THANK YOU SO MUCH Riverview Christmas Tree Farm for all that you do and sacrifice to create such a fun/amazing place for families to create happy memories and traditions!

Only thing is putting prices down by where the pumpkins are the sign you can’t see it unless you know where it is for the low income families that want to get there kids pumpkins but can’t look for it because they have little ones that struggle to hold still so we just get on the thing to go down to the pumpkins .
We don’t want to take away oh sorry can only get this one . Other than that it was a fun experience
