Drawing Birds in the Gardens with Color Pencils – Wednesday, September 9, 10AM – 1PM
Get ready for the fall migration by learning to draw some of our favorite feathered friends. In this workshop, fine art illustrator and master birder Chantelle Chapman will guide students through the basics of capturing birds on paper, and enjoying them in nature. Suitable for beginning through experienced artists. All materials are provided.
Members call for a discount code. Pre-registration is required. The class fee is $50.

Chantelle Chapman is an incredibly talented artist, birder and teacher as well! I learned a lot of new techniques from her class.

I enjoyed the class very much; however, I became
a bit frustrated when trying to color mix using the shades of pencils in the kits. Having a brown pencil and perhaps 3 strong primary colored pencils would be a good way to help. I lost drawing time trying to think of the shades I could mix to get a decent brown.
Looking forward to the bird class!
