Steubenville: The Nutcracker by Canton Ballet

It was a very nice time. I’m glad the Canton Ballet brought this to Steubenville for people to watch. I hope Steubenville can have more shows for us to attend at the Masonic Temple.

I brought my daughter-in-law who did ballet in high school, and her mother, who both enjoyed the nostalgia. Also my 2 year old granddaughter who is in ballet class and was enthralled - at the end she said, "Can we watch it again?" My mother is not into ballet and appreciated that there were many different short dances to keep it interesting. I appreciated that the show was in Steubenville - no drive!
The Masonic theater is really beautiful and just right tiers to be able to see, but I would love to have a better quality sound system for the music, if that would be possible next year.
Thanksgiving weekend worked well for us because most of the people I brought were from out of town, and they will certainly want to come again next year.
Thank you so much for bringing this show to us; it was a real gift to my family members who have had a very hard year.

We had a wonderful evening at the Masonic Temple watching The Nutcracker, performed by the Canton Ballet. A fun experience, the perfect way to start the holiday season. We would see it again!

The performance was very nice. I don't understand the Nutcracker, but I really appreciated their time and hard work to make it special. We enjoyed it.

The best ballet I've ever seen in Steubenville! Yes, it's the only one I've seen in Steubenville, but it was very enjoyable.
The dancing was beautiful. I had never heard of the Canton Ballet before, but I do hope to see them again sometime. Apparently they perform the Nutcracker with a live orchestra up in Canton (something the Pittsburgh Ballet never does for the Nutcracker). I'd really love to experience that. The main reason I wouldn't give this Steubenville performance 5 stars is that the musical accompaniment (recorded - and played through less-than-wonderful speakers) was not quite up to the standard of the dancers.
Still, it was a really good performance, given the limitations of the venue. I hope I'll be able to see it again next year.

A lovely theater experience! The Nutcracker Village is a wonderful holiday experience for the family. Having the opportunity to watch the Canton Ballet perform excerpts from the Nutcracker was absolutely the icing on the cake! What a talented group of young people! We enjoyed it so much, and hope it becomes a tradition in years to come!

This was such a beautiful experience. I think that the performers were so very talented and each scene just so wonderful. I want to thank the sponsors and the Steubenville Nutcracker Village for bringing the arts to Steubenville.
