2025 Hearts and Horses Benefit Fundraiser is cancelled.

Serenity Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing and sanctuary of abused, abandoned and neglected horses, and to the prosecution of those cruel to animals.

Serenity is hosted on a privately owned horse farm in Maple Valley, WA. Executive Director, Patricia Clark, has provided the use of her property to Serenity since its inception in May 2007 when she began to take in horses from a hoarding situation.

At Serenity, neglected or abused horses receive quality veterinary care, are socialized, and given essential training in preparation for adoption. As a result, the emotional and physical turnaround of these horses is nothing short of miraculous.

We are passionate about providing a natural and focused care plan for each of our resident equines including physical and emotional rehabilitation and training.

Hearts and Horses is our annual event to help fund the farm and continue to provide care to our rescued animals. This event in the past had entertained you with a Silent Auction, Live Auction, Raffle and games.  The evening was to include a light buffet complements of Renton Technical College Culinary Arts program, sweet desserts, beer and wine.  

This year, we decided not to hold the auction.  The amount of effort that goes into to hosting the event will be better spent on the farm, caring for the animals.  If you would like to help us care and provide sanctuary, please consider donating to the farm.
